The cathedral itself is pretty, not one of the most impressive you can see in Spain but pretty. Audioguide is included in the entrance fee and it is really good option to find all the hidden treasures inside. I am very disappointed that we were...More

Senior admission was 5.50€. You receive an audio guide and just follow the numbers all through the Cathedral. They also have push buttons at some of the alters to add lightening for a minute. This really brings out the colors and brings the delicate carvings...More

Not the most impressive cathedral I have visited, the architecture is interesting but that is about it. I did think that maybe having visited so many cathedrals I had ceased to appreciate them but a visit to Salamanca a few days later proved this is...More

Enjoyed my time here a lot, and very helpful to have a self guided tour in English as part of the entry fee.

The entrance fee was not cheap but the experience was fantastic. The interior design of this cathedral makes it so unique. The audio guide can help to understand the background.

Visited midday with my wife. Lovely feel and granduer about the cathedral. Lovely and cool inside. Typical religious artifacts to see. Personal handsets provided information which was a little too detailed. Having been there once I wouldn't visit it again.

We really enjoyed the self guided tour with audio-guide. I thought it was well worth the €6. I know others don’t think you should pay to enter places of worship but I think it’s a good thing to help maintain the properties.

This Cathedral represents very important part of Spanish history. Beautiful inside and outside, with a lot of treasures, with small but attractive museum inside, which includes religious reliquaries, is, without any doubt, the most important attraction in the ancient city of Avila.

The cathedral and its museum contain plenty of interesting artefacts and artworks. However, the presentation is done solely from a religious perspective. There is no historical or cultural storytelling related to any of the objects. All the "weird stuff" you walk past is not presented...More
