If you happen to be in the area, it's not a bad idea to stop by this little museum. Packed full of information, it will give you a very solid (but obviously biased) account of the birth of the Chinese Communist Party. All information is...More

This is nothing too special but it is a nice little bit of history to be at the very place the Communist Party of China held its first meeting almost 100 years ago. I wouldn't take a detour here but if you are visiting the...More

Very nice building and well-organized. Relatively easy to get in (no need for passport - they only scan your finger print) and a lot to see

If you have a chance visit nearby do drop by this free admission museum and really learn how the most important part of China formed. There is x ray screen at entrance and would not get queue up too long.

The place is worth of a visit. It gives a good account of this historical moment, and can be easily combined with visits around. Not to be missed!

The refurbishment of a block of old shikumen into a
carless entertainment center called Xintiandi, filled

below South Huangpi Road into one of Shanghai’s most
fashionable areas. Luxe condos house people who can
afford the high-end brands that fill the malls and
shops along Madang Road. The pleasant Taipinghu Park
provides the area with green space and is also home to
