Take this tour if you wanna see something different than the glamorous and modern Shanghai.
We met our guide at a fixed location (you need to travel to the location on your own), the whole idea is that this is a walking tour.
I had no idea what to expect when I signed up for this private class. My mother had expressed interest in taking a Tai Chi class for beginners, and neither of us really knew anything about the practice. This class was amazing, and it was...More

My colleague and I signed up for a guided tour of the southern city. Mason was a fabulous guide and was very knowledgeable. Even though I had previously lived in Shanghai I learned a great deal. Would recommend!
This class was really fun to do and we really learned how to make dumplings and spring rolls that we can re-create at home. The staff is warm and friendly and we laughed alot. One of the highlights of our trip.

Hello Eric. My wife and I took two tours with Shanghai Pathways in March. In both cases the guide was extremely knowledgeable and their English was quite good. Our tours were of "Old Town Shanghai" and the "Old Jewish Quarter". There are many others and we didn't have time for more. I highly recommend this company as the guides are excellent, even helping my wife shop in a local shop (a REAL LOCAL shop).
Schedule a tour and enjoy. The guides gave us concise directions in both English and Chinese that we gave to the taxi driver and he got us there no problem.
