It's not a very big place in terms of a museum, but encompasses a lot of the history of the place!! It's kept very clean and is definitely a must-see...wish there was a guide to explain to us about the display items!!

Not bad, but not too much interesting here. A single-floor museum that you have to spiral around behind the Sacred Tooth Temple to get to. Some nice artifacts in places (carved sword-hilts, old maps), a lot of this stuff is better done in Colombo. Saw...More

Located alongside the Temple of the Tooth Complex the museum provides a means of finding out about the history of Kandyan Kings, palace life and culture Entrance fee for foreigners is 600 LKR Many exhibits including pottery, metal work, clothing and intricately carved ivory

There are lot of items of craft and so many unique things there you can see and also you can get knowledge about ancient abilities there.

This museum houses many historical artefacts like dresses, pieces of jewellery worn by kings and queens. Old household items, weapons, earthware and lacquerware.

This museum gives a display of some artefacts of the Kandy time of Sri Lanka. If you have some time to kill it is interesting, but I would not recommend it if you have little time to spare
