The Col of 2260 m altitude is nothing more, but the parking place full of kiosks and dirty toilets in shops with souvenirs. But the snake road is breathtaking experience mainly on the north slopes towards Marrakesh. Great views on both north as well as...More

Tizi n Tichka is an old Berber village that is in a state of decay but still provides home for several families. The village is familiar from the films in which it was used. We only viewed the village from the current town across the...More

The road offers many pretty sights from lush hills to harsh mountains. The views are amazing and there are plenty of photo opportunities. The road however is very bad and full of holes which makes the journey last forever.

Our trip across the High Atlas was made more challenging by miles of roadworks. The tortuous sections were being rebuilt but this meant driving on mud and gravel. The views are enormous and the Renault 4 rally coming in the other direction added colour and...More

The Tizi n Tikka pass is 2,100m with stunning views. The road is only 1-1/2 lanes and there are few crash barriers and many precipitous drops. If you can brave the road, it is definitely worth it. Enjoy a celebration at the top of the...More

The area is one of the gateways to Sahara desert. Beautiful drive with amazing vistas, scenic views and breathtaking stops. Mostly area to just pass through and take some photos. Imlil is a small village - you can stop for a stretch.

Probably the best scenic route in Morocco where you see the undulating mountains, the snow capped peaks, deep blue skies and the zig zag roads from above.

I traveled through this area heading to Ouarzazate from Marrakesh and it was great landscape, mountains covered with snow which its complete different what I experience in Marrakesh before taking this trip. Few small towns along the way. worth to visit.
