It is true that the famous flamingos are gone... However, we loved the parc...we saw white AND black rhino. Many many giraffes and some lion action. We saw many many animals. Would recommend going here at low season. (But not for flamingos)

It is a bumpy drive to Lake Nakuru but it was worth it. We saw balck and white rhinos with babies, a newborn giraffe and lots of ither African mammals. The flamingos were there but no in great numbers.

Loved out short but exciting drives in this park. We managed to see Rhinos as well as giraffes and many other animals. Lots of birds too. The scenery is so different than what I was expecting.

We drove south towards the Makalia Falls Campsite (which is btw not much of a campsite: besides the ablution block there is nothing more to recognize that you are on the campsite) and all of a sudden a Rhino bull stepped onto the track, followed...More

See the birds, and all kinds of wildlife. Baboons, black and white rinos, hyinas and more. The flamingos are still there, but because the lake is changing, not for long.

This was one of the three national parks we did a game drive at. I found the landscape rather dense. Not enough variety in animals - pink flamingos and baboons were the only ones worth going to see at this park. If you aren’t interested...More

This was so great to see. Rhino, buffalo, flamingos all sorts of wildlife. It was a great experience and one not to be missed in this region.

If it’s about seeing flamingos I would prefer to visit Lake Baringo in Baringo County. If you still decide to visit Lake Nakuru, the Nationalpark is just a 10 minute ride from Nakuru town. But you’ll need a vehicle to enter... More
