Gobindgarh Fort is located inside the Lohgarh Darwaza on the Old Cant. road. Built in the 19th century, it was under the reign of Bhangi-misl, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, British and the Indian army. It is now open to public.

The Gobindgarh fort is a must visit if you happen to be in Amritsar. It was opened for public only in 2017..previously under the Indian Army. The tickets are a little steep but worth it. Missed the light & sound show due to time crunch....More

Entry ticket includes a 7-D show also which is worth experiencing. Golf Cart is seperate charge of Rs 100/- bothways. The Fort is around 15-20 minutes drive by Golden temple, near Durgiana Temple (replica of Golden temple)

It is not worth it. These are animation movies. The chairs are quite old and tattered. The sound is also below average. Better a skip.
