This is one of the remaining shopping streets that are still worthwhile in Brazil. Filled with fancy shops, bars and other amenities, it is a fine walk for a saturday afternoon.

Traditionally the most elegant shopping street in the country, it has suffered a lot from financial crisis, violence and concurrence from shopping malls In the city for the last 5 or 8 years. Nonetheless it has got over quite well ans looks funny and alive...More

Okay, first off, for women: wear heels at your peril. Many do, but the side streets off Oscar Freire (and you will want to head to those as well, Lorena, Melo Alves, Augusta, Consolação etc) are hilly, variable pavements etc. Oscar Freire is a mixed...More

Very pleasant walk, lots and lots and lots of stores- both national and international brands. There must be two cafes on every block at least, so very easy to stop and refuel. Shops are attractive but still inviting- not Rodeo Drive snooty.

Strolling about the Oscar Freire Street is a change from wandering through the large Sao Paulo Malls, although many brands encountered on the street are the same as in the malls and are among the most expensive ones. The street is a busy one every...More

Nice street to go for a walk. Good shopping and are most favourite one is The Havaianas shop! It's a must visit as has all collection here and all sizes! We didn't feel unsafe here, but of course need to keep always an eye.

A nice uptown, plain street, with high-end stores, cafes, diners, restaurants, benches and a broader sidewalk near the corners. My suggestion is trying the diner Frevo, decades-old, but still the same. There, you may as well order burgers, sundaes, generous milk shakes and whatnot. Place...More

Sao Paulo and Brazil in generally is very expensive and doesn't really offer much in the way of shopping. Locally produced products offer good value, but are not cheap.
