Prainha Beach is a secluded half-moon-shaped beach, bordered on each side by rocks and high cliffs. It is one of the best surfing spots in Rio, and may be reached by car or by the orange "surf bus" that passes through Copacabana and Ipanema.

This is very far to visit from downtown or south zone. So if you want to enjoy without problems, wake up very early and go. The beach is sometimes with big waves!!! But the road to their is so beautiful
This beach we were told is surfers paradise. A small "private" type beach , away from the masses of people , lovely setting , close to a great restaurant . Current a little strong but I still had a nice swim

There's the natural pool of secreto beach, befora the road to prainha, where there's a city park of prainha, with a nice hike to mirante do caeté, worth it, Cheers
