I was really surprised to see a Christian Cathedral in the centre of a Chinese city. Beautiful building, worth a visit. The mess was on and I was invited, being clearly caucasian, to enter while my Chineses colleagues weren't admitted (we did not insist).

The Sacred Heart Cathedral is quite a unique place of worship in Guangzhou. The place looks gorgeous at night when the lights are on. Was nice seeing it again.

Walking through the city I often was very astonished finding an old temple or in this case a big old catholic church amidst this partly very modern city.
