The tour was quick and the woman talking about the history of vodka making spoke as if she was reading from a script. Every word was memorized so there wasn’t any kind of emotion behind the words. After the tour we were given vodka and...More

Unfortunately, we were not able to spend a lot of time at the museum, however the restaurant was amazing. We wanted authentic Russian cuisine and our waiter directed us toward some wonderful choices. I will definitely say that this is a must go to place,...More

Went here as part of an organised tour. Short, but quite interesting talk about the history of vodka, followed by 3 tastings. I can't drink it, but others seemed to like it. Nice displays of all sorts of vodka memorabilia.

This museum is a personal favorite of mine in St. Petersburg. It is tiny. It is cheesy. And yes, its collection consists mostly of bottles and shot glasses. I’ve been here twice, though, and every time the staff has been more than accommodating. I’ve never...More

A must do activity at St. Petersburg with friends. It’s an interesting tour how vodka evolved in Russia and its fun to experience to drink the 4 different shots of vodka with pancakes and caviar.

Don’t visit this place. The staff was uncommitted and bored. It looked like the museum was located in someone’s basement. Everything in the “museum” is in Russian and the English recording you can borrow was so bad. Not worth your time or money.

The guided tour in english is better than the non guided or audio tour. It includes three vodkas and snack and is 600 rubles - more vodka available to buy. The restaurant attached is also well worth a visit.

The museum is, indeed, associated to the restaurant. I believe the museum closes at 20:00hrs but you can still have dinner in the restaurant after that hour. Not so sure about the bar in the museum. Enjoy
