The entry is next to the restaurant of the Aquarium. Stairs up. Then you see everything. Someone did good maintenance job. You can see few pieces history here. Of cause, winners wrote history.

This is a fantastic experience. Not far from the town centre and is really interesting. You can pretend to shoot the guns and it’s a heap of fun.

If you don't read and understand Russian, you can enjoy the view and the canons. Most Russians museums, are unfortunately in Russian-language only and the less reading to better...

Worth checking out if you are near by. Interesting history, lead to understanding of why Vladivostok is the gateway to the east for Russia and very important militarily. Also provided insight on how Primorsky Krai because part of Russia in the first place. Cool things...More

The fortress has a great view and an interesting historical background. I believe it is still a working military establishment. Vladivostok had the biggest naval fortress in Russia by World War One so there is plenty to see.
