All museums are similar to some extent. Often it is a collection of items united by one theme, lying on display behind the glass. You cannot say the same about our museum. It is different. It is interactive. It is difficult to say what it resembles...more

Incredible interactive and immersive Museum chronicling life in Russia for the Jewish people. Centuries of scapegoating, persecution and suffering culminating in 90% of Jewish adults, children and babies being exterminated during World War Two. This Museum has highest tech newsreels, footage and eyewitness accounts along...More

A modern, very didactic and entertaining museum. Every detail is taken care of and they make use of technology very intelligently. The information it offers is exceptional and its interactive exhibits are very attractive. The only negative point was one of the girls at the...More

From 4D movie to the use of 3D printers, this museum captures history on a way I've never seen. We spent 2 hours (as we were on a tour), but could have easily spent all day. Young or old, this place will engage your interest.

This museum attempts to present the full spectrum of Jewish experience for about the last 1000 years in Russia, under its many political systems, using an array of presentational and multi-media formats. It does seem to wander away from its Jewish focus a bit during...More

A great history lesson of the Jews from the whole of the Eastern European region. You'll walk away having been exposed to a very powerful experience. The museum provides an in-depth understanding of the history of Ashkenazi Jews. Set aside at least 4 hours or...More

This was an incredible place to visit. Calling it a museum doesn’t do it justice as it was truly an interactive educational experience. I wish my kids aged 13 and 15 were with me because they would have enjoyed it. I began with 4 D...More

This museum is a real gem and should be high on a visitor's list. The visit begins with a short 4-D film about the Biblical origins of the Jewish people. After which we could use an interactive exhibit to learn about Jewish Communities all around...More

Wow. A tremendous amount of time, thought and expense was invested in the development of this museum. Using high tech means, the museum tells the story of the Jewish religion and culture and the history of Russia's Jews in a very fresh way. It's clear...More

We took the metro, got off at Marina Roshcha and walked there on foot. It wasn't far away from the metro station, though there were some twists and turns on our way there, going through a couple of small alleys. The best... More
