I absolutely adore this place. One suggestion for improvement would be to create some public toilets so tourists can properly be hosted at the location. I would also really like to see the site taking better care of the stray dogs, they suffer so greatly...More

We arrived at the gorges at 9am. Probably a lil too early cause there was no one around. We had to look for an entrance ourselves, hoping we were in the right path. Even the emergency shelter was unattended. Once in the middle of the...More

You wouldn't expect to see so such cliffs, so close to the city. Is also a climbing area good for all levels of climbers.

Worth a visit. impressive gorges, rather easy to walk, but difficult and dangerous when wet. You need some shoes with a good profile. Natural wild preserved, worth some effort to make it easy to walk and keep it clean.

Closed when we visited as there was a private wedding. A little out of the way if going with public transport. Well worth a visit and extremely close to the salt mine!

This is a spectacular reserved area with specific wildlife and endangered species. You have a 3km canion between 300m steep cliffs alongside the little river but I strongly recommend climbing up one of the rocks. It is worth it since you have a breathtaking view...More

Located about 10 minute drives from Cluj, these gorges are a great place for a morning hike. They could be crowded over the weekends and public holidays. The parking is generous. They are part of a Natural Park. The entrance fee is less than 1...More

We hiked for 3-4 hours along the marked path. The scenery is amazing. The hike was of low to moderate difficulty in places (our young child was hiking with us). We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Suggestion: place some bins from time to time (where there...More

From cluj there is a minibus of a company called FANY to turda.costs 7 lei per person. From turda you can take a taxi for 35 lei. Ask for the driver's number to call for a lift back, or ask the resturaunt to call one
