This colorful Hindu Temple was built in 1833 and is the oldest in Penang. It features elaborate sculptures of Gods and Goddesses over the front facade and opens mornings and evenings . It is also known as the Queens Street Indian Temple.

This beautiful little Indian temple is located in Little India, Georgetown. Leave your shoes outside and enjoy it’s ornate interior.

It's possible to spend a whole day visiting George Town's temples. This apparently is the oldest Hindu temple in the city, and although it isn't huge, it's definitely worth a visit.
