The pathway to the mural was crowded by tourists and not easy to get good photos. Many souvenirs and quirky note books on sale on the sidewalk there. This jetty is more prominent than the Lim Jetty near by. I planned to catch the sunset...More

Lots of shops targeting tourists along the one squeezy lane towards the jetty. Note that the jetty is only nice at high tide.

Chew jetty is over commercialized place. If you want to experience the way these people used to live don't forget to visit the other ones.

There’s 1 street wall painting available here. There are food shops available as well. It’s near Jetty food court too.

Nearly every house is a shop or restaurant and the place is awash with tourists. Nothing wrong with that but it has little charm. Walk along some of the other less well known jetties for an idea of what it used to be like.

It’s our first time walking along the jetty, so I guess it’s a novel experience for us. There are souvenir and food shops along the way. Some of the units are still private residences. Saw the big bowl noodles shop, but we were too full...More

Houses and businesses, maybe 100 - 150 years old, built on stilts in tidal water and mud. Very worth seeing, especially if you too have never visited such a place.

No entrance fee. There’s probably a fee for the boat ride but don’t know how much.
