Nearly every house is a shop or restaurant and the place is awash with tourists. Nothing wrong with that but it has little charm. Walk along some of the other less well known jetties for an idea of what it used to be like.

A strech of shop cum houses..on the sea..good experience to have a walk here especially morning or late afternoon.. few food to taste..durian puff ann durian ice cream ( but recent visit could not find the shop and the seller) bought puff from the shop...More

i suggest u to go chew jetty at the afternoon because it very hot at the jetty. the business hour is 10 am - 9 pm. there is only one jetty near the big bowl noodle. don't forget to bring hat because it is hot.
