While some are rushing to tear down historical buildings and colonial heritage sites, one can take a nice and pleasant walk in Ipoh's Old Town and enjoy the age old buildings that are very much still alive. Since some ten years back, there has been...More

We did the Ipoh Heritage walk today through the old town and thoroughly enjoyed the architecture and ambience. There is some lovely old and very interesting Colonial and Chinese architecture to see.

This was a lovely thing to do, to see so many of the highlights of Ipoh and to grab snacks and treats along the way. A lovely way to spend a few hours.

A nice way to learn about Ipoh and how she came about. Be very ready to share the same spot with strangers though as it is packed with tourist alike. A must when one visit Ipoh

A trail that helps you understand the history of ipoh a little bit more. Get a map and start exploring. We walk throughout therefore make sure you start early to avoid the extreme heat during the day

One of the best place to explore by foot. If you love street art this is the place. You can take a short break at a cafe and also enjoy the street food.

The heritage walk is quite fascinating with gorgeous buildings, especially Chinese heritage and fabulous murals. But as a comparative benchmark, Penang scores much more! Collect the walk maps from the Tourist office (easy to locate).

Ipoh is full of history and historical buildings. If this tour is run by the heritage society then it's definitely worth joining. The walk will be highly interesting and hopefully will end with a stop at one of the famous ipoh white coffee and experience...More

It's not the most beautiful city at all but the walk makes it more interesting. The murals are especially fun.

We had a very interesting day following the Heritage Walk You need at least two to three hours to cover all the sights. The railway station is a very impressive building. we also enjoyed the Mural Art Trail.

The Heirtage Walk is not a place per se. Rather, it is a walkabout on the side of the Old Town nearer to the Old Railway Station to look at the old colonial buidlings built by the British. (1) Assuming that you start with... More
