Ipoh is famous for such caves and we would like to see most of them. This one appeared to be ordinary and we were happy that the place can be reached by using Grab services.

Fascinating temple in a huge cavern with several statues. About 400 steps to the top of the temple and a nice view, with some monkeys to keep you company. Some areas are a bit run-down and you should be careful walking on the stairs as...More

A serene cum peaceful place, the paintings on the wall are very impressive. After a short climb up the hill, the scenery from the top is breathtaking. Worth the visit!

Not a favourite from our visit to Ipoh, but certainly worth some time. The cave wasn't as good as others. We opted to hike to the top, but with hindsight, it wasn't worth all that heat and exertion. The views disappointed.

Probably one of the best cave temples I've visited. Immediately cooling once you walk in, much appreciated after a hot day. Carpark is technically 'free', but some guy will approach you and ask for a parking fee of your choice. I gave RM5 but it...More

The first place I went to during the short trip to ipoh. It's quite nearby to the city center and one can easily get a cab (Grab). Wasn't having high hopes and it looked like a typical Chinese Buddhist Temple from outside. But I was...More

If you have seen other cave temples in Malaysia, this place may not impress you that much, but if you have not, you will certainly enjoy the visit. The entire complex is in a cave and it is still a functioning temple with priests and...More

The place is reasonably well kept. The cave is a huge one and there is a staircase to go up to the limestone hill to have a good view. Be careful of the monkeys around as they are like snatch chiefs, sneaking behind you to...More

For those wanting to take the bus. No.35 drops you off opposite the temple. No. 31 will take you back to Ipoh centre. Stand near the big tree near the exit of the temple
