The oldest market in Almaty, lots of vegetables and fruit also dried fruit cheese and a lot of meat all kind of meat but lots of horsemeat ! typical for Kazachstan. It was interesting to walk around and check the goods . Very few fish....More

Very good Market for buying Dry Fruits of all varieties at very reasonable prices. Haggling is there and you have to be smart to purchase all these varieties. Souvenirs are also available. On the whole a very good bazaar.

The first thing that caught my eyes were the fresh fruits and vegetables being sold. They looked so beautiful and colourful. The bazaar was clean and there were many choices of food and other items to choose from We bought our souvenirs from here too
