Well before our trip we read about this street like it’s main street of the city and very interesting to buy souvenirs, but it’s really nothing special unfortunately. We tried to find magnets but it’s only few shops around

We really enjoyed wondering around the park as there were so many interesting memorials all around. The gorgeous church also adds charm to this amazing place that already has plenty to offer!

Tourists will be amazed to acknowledge that whole Almaty is quite modern and a park around the Orthodox Church in the Center is one of the local attractions. Worth visiting to see how Soviet past is still present
