Not far from the city you can find a real natural wonder. The colour of the lake is amazing and the mauntains around contribute to the charm of this place.

So, this is a nice picnic spot high in the Alatau mountains in Almaty. While the area is still very undeveloped there are a few vendors selling coffee and other snacks. The lake is relatively small but is picturesque. Worth a visit.

Its not risky at all. If you go by car may be u will feel some risks on the road bcz its mountain areas. But not so much risky if you go for a walk there after reaching the place

Any time would do. You cannot swim in it. We wee there with snow on the hills, and that was very picturesque

Car and driver. Ask your hotel or tour group to organize - make sure it's for both ways!!!
