It's soothing and relaxing to walk around this place. Not a lot of tourists, no hassle. You can just stroll along the lake and enjoy its splendid view. I visited both this lake and Lake Toya and in my opinion this is better.

Just spent a day/night at Mizu mo Uta Lake Shikotsu Tsuruga Resort Spa because of the hot spring. Surprisingly before we left for the airport, we walked by the lake and were totally indulged by the tranquil and beautiful scenery of the lake.
