I found the view is absolutely stunning but the place is obviously very ruined and very quiet. It is a bit underwhelming because the lack of information - but nonetheless we ticked it off our list.

Great place to clamber around real ruins. At Easter time you might spot a tortoise or two. Very hot in summer, take a hat and water bottle. Sturdy shoes needed.

Hi. We were there around 4pm and people were still turning up. We spent an hour there and there was no sign of it closing.
