Amphitheater is in very good shape, it is nice to feel that atmosphere and aura there is very good. People moving quite quickly so there will be very good chance to do nice photos.

I just love these entertainment centres the Romans have left behind. This is the second one I have visited today. Well worth having a look.

We went to see this at sunset and it did not disappoint. Beautiful Amphitheater. For a fee a cart can take you to the top to save the walk. It was less crowded at this time of day and not as hot.

This amphitheatre forms part of the Hierapolis UNESCO world Heritage site. It has been well researched and restored by archeologist. It is one of the best one i have seen apart from the Colosseum in Rome. A Must view place

Best time will be spring most probably. Bodrum is 3 hrs drive. 1 day with a guide is ok. You have to read some historical info before you come. If you rent a car Dedeman hotel is out of the city Denizli. We stayed there.
