Free to visit. Amazing structure and details and the views are spectacular. We saw this place while visiting the Buddha. We went early in the morning and didn't encounter many tourists.

Very curious compound of temples, pagodas and a giant Buda (?). The temple is all white (somehow similar to the white temple but not as good). The pagoda has 9 floors which are quite fun to get up (the higher, the narrower the stair!) and...More

Two huge places to visit on one ground. The 23 storey high Guanyin statue was impressive. With only 40 Baht, you may take the lift to Guanyin’s forehead to enjoy the view. Since this place is a complex, you may walk over to a smaller...More

The place is definitely worth a visit for the majesty of the 90-meters Buddha statue, however forget about holiness and spirituality. It’s a big business these people are running and they are running it hard.

This is a little farther out of the city of Chiang Rai than the white or blue temples but definitely worth a trip. One of newest temples (open only 4 years approx) and built by a Monk on the land where he runs an orphanage....More

If you can only go to one attraction in Chiang Rai, it should definitely be this one. The temple ground have three absolutely amazing attractions, each of them way more exciting than the White Temple wich initially put Chiang Mai on the map. First there...More

Hi, the elevator in the Shiva statue is open from 10am to 6pm. The Chinese temple next door a little longer. Entrance fee is 40 Bht for foreigners, locals pay half.
