This fort is well maintained and clean. There's a museum and a few crafts shops inside. Compared to Amer and Jaisalmer forts, this one is definitely bigger and better.

Massive sprawling fort on hill overlooking town. Bring hat and wear sunscreen. Many take rides to get up to fort. Walk from town is quite steep and not for less healthy. 600 rupees for foreigners. Many rooms of history and displaying what they were used...More

Dating from 1490, the fortress is splendid in every way - its situation, construction and presence. It houses a series of decorated palaces, their courtyards and halls, with fine stone lattice, tiles, stained glass, mirror, gilt, painted lacquer and more. Also collections of paintings, textiles,...More

Must see attraction in Jodhpur. Obviously can't miss it since it is obvious to all up on the hill. The new zipline behind the fort was an interesting twist and different point of view to see the back side.

Nice place to visit. Only fort with a lift. Sandstone build fort is very nice to visit. Avoid the lift if possible as the rajasthani music will welcome the guests if they walk the ramp.
