This is a Lord Shiva temple with ancient engineering knowledge & mathematics calculations. The sages who built this temple had wonderful scientific knowledge because they positioned the Lords Linga underground to receive the sunlight through a hole during Sankranthi only .

This temple is very good temple. this temple has good architecture. In the month of January the Sun rays fall on the main Linga on 13th, 14th and 15th. Needs visit once in life time.

Yup. It's open on all days. I would guess that it will be open during morning hours from 9am-1pm and again in the evening from 4-8pm. I had visited after 4 pm. So I don't know correctly the timings. U can contact them. There... More
