Even on a cloudy day the views are stunning. I was thankful for the cloud cover as its a decent hike up to the top, lots of places to stop on the way up and down, but if it had been a choice of visiting...More

Very picturesque you will need a boat trip to get here, it's very small, no hotels etc. Created from black lava rock you are taken ashore by zodiac and arrive at a wooden walkway that leads all the way to the peak of the volcano....More

This island is one of the most special ones in Galapagos. You can take a day tour from Santa Cruz Island or check the cruise itinerary to visit this island. The first visit is to the summit, although is a little tiring with many stairs,...More

This is where you go to get that iconic picture of the Galapagos landscape---pinnacle rock and the beautiful bay below. You do have to earn it though--about 364 steps, give or take. However, the payoff is immense. Along the way, while your on Mother Nature's...More

When planning your trip to the remarkable Galapagos, don’t pass up an opportunity to get to Bartolome. While it can be a bit expensive to get there, it is one of the most remote and beautiful locations I’ve ever seen. It is the iconic image...More

Not unless there’s one aboard your boat. There is nothing on Bartoleme.
