Don't waste your time going there. Some homeless where washing their clothes there. Not even a spot for a good Pic when my wife and I were there.
Spend your time elsewhere. Medellín have to much to see/do to go there.

Beautiful tranquil park, great for reflection and also great for a family picnic. Lost of quiet space, a pool to take your shoes off and dip your feet. A couple of Sandy areas, plus most of the parks in Medellin have free WiFi.
