The Peñon in Guatape is an incredible place. You MUST go to the top. Not only the stone is amazing but also its surroundings. The village of Guatape is a very nice place to walk in the afternoon and enjoy a good cup of coffee.

Nice attraction where you climb about 750 stairs to the top of a rock formation. Pace yourself and then enjoy the views of the countryside, lakes and river. Beautiful! I enjoyed a beer at the top and the way down was a piece of cake.
