Having visited a beautiful cemetery in Zakopane, Poland we were a little disappointed that this cemetery didn’t have the same charm. Whilst the cemetery is large and very peaceful, it has little variety in the graves that are there. Therefore, after about half an hour,...More

A little bit outside old town, but worth to visit. It is interesting here. Family crypts are so different, that you feel like in museum.

As you walk around this amazing cemetery find the beautiful monuments to famous and maybe not so famous people. Most notable are Ivan Franko and Volodymyr Ivasiuk's graves.

Big cemetary with a huge nomber of graves with different decorated tombs. Very interesting to walk in it and see. I have seen many cemetaries but this one is one of most interesting.

All the guidebooks describe this as a must see but, in all honesty, if you've seen Highgate Cemetery or Père Lachaise - and if you have no knowledge of Ukrainian heroes - you don't have to make time for it. It's a peaceful place, in...More
