Lovely area, glassed paving allows you to view roman ruins. Steps up onto the city walls from here and nice pizza cafe on corner. Local weddings seem to happen here, we were lucky enough to see one both Saturdays we were here, singing , dancing and traditional procession lead by

The wells are located next to a very pleasant square and a park on the hill. It is slightly disturbed by a couple of bars but on the whole it is a very peaceful environment. I recommend going at sunset or early in the morning. But definitely a must see part of Zadar, it is also
