We stayed on the island for 1 week at the fantastic Kalamota Beach House (see separate review), but it can be accessed via ferry or on one of the many boat trips/tours from nearby Dubrovnik. The island is car free, with the locals zipping about...More

Small unspoilt island with lovely walks though the woods and along the shoreline. Well worth a visit. A break from hectic Dubrovnik

Another small harbour with a post office and supermarket. There is a beach next to the only hotel. Good views across to Croatia.

Did it as part of a 3 island boat trip. First place we stopped. No cars and transport makes it a very quiet place to walk round.

Beautiful little island. Hotel average. They definitely need more staff. Often tables were not cleared in the dinning room, even though the staff were very busy. Dirty napkins and dishes were left in a heap in the corner of dinning room. Food was only ok,...More

Yes the ferries run daily. The first to leave the island is 6.45am to Dubrovnik and the last one back is 8pm from the Old Harbour Dubrovnik to Koločep.
