Worthy of a walk around. Lots of people milling about though, I’d check cruise ship schedules and try to take it all in when there are few or none in the area.

It’s worth doing and there are some good views of the city and the sea. It gets very busy at the entrance to the city so you should start somewhere else into the city.

What can I say about Dubrovnik that hasn't already been said. I'm looking forward to coming back. Wear walking shoes and take your time. Breathtaking views.

Off season is bad. None of the normal services are available, and locals seem to be pissed off about everything. Even if you try to give money to them!!!

When travellers think of Dubrovnik, they are almost certainly thinking of the old town. Huddling inside its massive (and complete) walls, the old city has endured the centuries, in spite of attacks from the Ottomans, the Venetians, hordes of assorted pirates and - most horrifically...More

I cannot imagine how crowded this city is during the summer—even in shoulder season, we dodged cruise ship tours to enjoy a lovely walled city and its charm. Check out the public spaces, the monastery cloisters, and the market. Enjoy climbing up the stairs-masquerading-as-streets into...More
