The park is ok, but has no playground games, so there´s nothing to do for the kids, except for running around a lake.

A pretty park not too far off the rambla. Looks like it would be fun to go in summer and use one of the paddle boats.

If you have time to spare while at Montevideo, I would advise you to spend an afternoon of leisure at this beautiful park. Away from the Old City, you will find an oasis of calm among the greenery here. It's a good place to unwind...More

Being not too far from our hotel, we went for a walk in Parque Rodo on an excessively hot January day. A lot of greenery, as expected, nice alleys, a lake and not much else- not a place to buy something to drink, or an...More

We took this park in as part of our tour, it's well maintained, clean and a pleasure to walk around , .. it was rather hot in the open, fortunately we had sun cream, I'd recommend you cream up if you go.

I like being in open spaces and the day was too nice to sit inside. So I walked from the hostel to the park with a map and book and took a leisurely start to the day before heading into the city. Even stopped for...More

Spent some time walking around park on a sunny April day. Peaceful and relaxing walking through trails to see the lakes, plants, trees and wildlife. The were plenty of local people drinking mate and some playing chess!

While living in Montevideo, Parque Rodó was one of our favorite places to relax. The abundance of grass, trees, and birds are an oasis right in the city. You can see locals here all day, every day, and for good reason. If you come to...More

A nice place to relax under a tree with a book. There is a nice cafe here for a coffee stop. The beachside part of the park is good for sunset-watching.
