The Legislative palace in Montevideo is quite the marvel and is great in splendour and size! It hosts some wonderful architecture and is the type of place that you can only really admire in person!
The visit lasts atleast 30min and had Spanish/English/Portuguese(BR) guides. You will be able to visit the Senate and Deputy Chambers, as well as the main hall, public library and the second floor. You can visit at 10:30AM or 03:00PM. The cost was US$3 or 110 Pesos. (12/12/19)
This is a beautiful example of early 20th century architecture. Uruguay’s parliament meets here. We only stopped for taking pictures of the exterior, however we were too close to get the whole building in.
The interior is breathtaking, lovely art and amazing walls and marble floors. Such a nice place to take really good pics.
Good for a 5-10 minute stop and a picture. We saw this on a City bus tour. There may be more to it inside but other than the grand facade, I can't say much more about it.
