There are two sides - the calm side and wavy side. It’s like a wave pool on the wavy side. This portion is the one open to the public. 1. How to get there - there are large boats offering rides. If I remembered it...More

We came here around 9am. Apparently no sandbar during the day according to our boatman. He said its better to come here during sunset. However the beach is nice and you can see some fish in the water. No place to leave your bags. Other...More

Living the island at its finest here. Well secluded which provides tranquility and privacy. Picturesque Scenery was in every corner. The sandbar is definitely a must experience.

We went to beautiful Sumilon Island for a few hours. There were plenty of boats or taxi boats making the journey to and from the island. The duration wasn't too long and price not too bad. On the island we enjoyed the beautiful water for...More

Pay $50 to support resorts taking over islands or pay $10 to come to bath in clear water with no fish or corals next to boats polluting the water. Not worth your time or money.

This is by far the most beautiful reef we have snorkeled at. The aquatic life and coral reefs are out of this world. The colors and array of fish are incredible. Took a private boat to see the whale sharks and then straight to Sumilon...More

Beautiful coral reef and clear water! The resort owns much of the island, but you can still stay on the beautiful sandbar. But don’t go with the company “Tan Awan”. While we were out snorkeling and the boat crew was the only ones left on...More

Not sure how the prices work. I reckon it depends which boat/company you go to. But yea, we paid 1500pesos for 4people on a shared boat.
