Be sure to take a brief detour for a 5-minute visit to this temple which has been a place of visit for 370 years. If not in the neighborhood, don't detour.

This temple is buried in the middle of the city and is a nice quiet change of pace. I felt welcome by the worshippers and pretty comfortable. There are a few photos up around the temple asking people to not take tourists. However I just...More

I stopped here around lunch time, it was very busy, loads of worshippers and incense burning. Interesting to see coming from the UK as there isn’t much like this back home. Great to see different cultures. I felt welcome there even tho I wasn’t there...More

A small temple but the burning incense coils, smoke, sunlight, worshipers and the interior created an amazing atmosphere, bringing up a compact and busy feel of an attraction. This temple is conveniently located, a plus for tourist with tight schedule.

Beautiful temple and cool inside. The display of gods was a bit creepy. Nicely kept and in good repair.

Went here but didn’t stay long. It was awesome inside with the various statues and incense burning but was run down. Understand this is a religious temple and people were silently praying. Interesting to visit and worth a look.

Having seen hundreds of temples we did not spend long here, but if you are new to Asia this temple complex is well worth seeing. What interested us the most was the number of fortune tellers lining the surrounding streets. Each of them had their...More

Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you
will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong
Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong
Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma
Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on
their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area
makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in
time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the
