This is still being worked on. The “avenue” will link the Luxor temple and the Karnack temple. For now it is just so-so.

The avenue of Sphinxes is slowly being uncovered. The view from the Luxor temple shows the most uncovered area.

Sphinks alley is very distinctive and impressive. Environment is right there, temps 40C plus accommodates with ancient Egypt era. Very recommend piece of the history.

As one approaches, this entrance sets the mood to take you back in time. The little sphinxes are a royal setting, in deed.

We spent 2 days in Luxor trying to see everything we could. The avenue of sphinxes makes a terrific photo when nobody else is there.

It is a project that is still under construction. You can see the road clearly from the Luxor temple. The road is between Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. It use to be used for one the yearly rituals, thousands of years ago. It seems like...More
