You can spend a lot of time here, I would say visit it very early. Don't bother with the light and sound shows. Never get a guide.

What can I say, go see it , exceptional archeological site. The Winter is easier temperature wise but the crowds are large, Before November it is still very hot but much quieter. Still was 106 degrees in October .

A must-see when in Luxor. Quite vast and incredibly impressive ruins. Allow at least a couple hours to fully explore it all

While in Egypt, we visited a lot of temples. This is definitely the best one. I believe that it is also the largest one. To fully appreciate what is there and its historical significance, a guide is a must.

This place is beautiful with amazing photo ops. Please go during the day. The nights show was very boring and my entire group was disappointed. It is not up to par with a USA light show so if you choose to go, please do not...More
