I was interested to see them demonstrating how to make the papyrus paper and some of the art work was fascinating. Hospitable without being pushy. We were shown how to make sure it was genuine papyrus paper and offered tea, coffee or hibiscus tea.

My friend and I went here during our pyramid tour. This is not something originally put into our itinerary but we went nonetheless. The demonstration is short, about 15 minutes. Our salesperson, as we found out AFTER the demonstration, was extremely pushy. We asked for...More

Was a very interesting demonisation on how papyrus is made and the difference between and how spot fake papyrus. Some incredibly beautiful art work, old and contemporary and what would have been a very relaxing atmosphere to admire the works. An over zealous exceptional pushy...More

things worth seeing... See how the ancient Egyptians made the first essay in papyrus plant history. If you want to buy real papyrus gifts, this is the place to go.

Lovely place to see the natural art. Do negotiate well and sometimes below 60% of value. The staff is very friendly and nice to interact with. Had this lovely lady who guides me well and gave good discounts.

We came as part of our trip to the pyramids with our guide. The employees are kind and not pushy at all. They were very knowledgeable about their products

I don't recommend this place to buy. It's expensive because it's real papyrus paper (not banana skin or only vertical layer papyrus) and it's in Giza. But the so called "artist" who painted our names in hieroglyphs did a terrible job!! It was like if...More

The demonstration of the making of papyrus ‘paper’ was really quite fascinating. My husband loved the colorful artwork so talked me into purchasing one of the larger pieces for our home. And they are admittedly quite pretty. We were allowed to walk around and peruse...More

I bought a print and paid 60.00 which started at $200.00 USD and it also was rolled and put in a nice cardboard tube which I carried home myself.
