Tradition has it that it is King David who is buried in The Tomb of King David but this is not a certainty. Anyway, no matter who is buried in the tomb it is nice to believe it is King David and it is worth a visit just to be part of history. It can get crowded so it is

Fun to see for the history of it, but it's really just a quick look in and see what it's like kind of deal. It's right by the Upper Room/Cenacle and the Dormition Abbey if you want to stop and see all of those things in an afternoon. Men and women are separated and there isn't

We entered the room after 17:00 and could easily get in and out. Not very much to see, but understand the significance to Jewish people. The only downside of arriving this late is that the Last Supper room was closed, as were the cathedral nearby.
