Timna park is about 30 km outside of Eilat and near the newly built Ramon Airport. It is a vast area surrounded by copper filled mountains. The area is very well set out. There is an entrance fee, but well worth it. An informative video...More

the geology and archeology here are impressive, important and interesting, but not obvious to the outsider. A well informed guide will give you the best experience.

We did the sunset tour with a local company and were not disappointed! Our guide Gil was incredibly knowledgeable and the sunset was breathtaking. This is a must see natural wonder when visiting Eilat!

The park is well maintained, and the views are amazing. Don't miss the documentary to know more about the history of the place. Best if you hike/cycle here, rather than taking a guided tour. Be sure to protect yourself from the sun!

Definitely worth a stop if you are travelling to Eilat. Avoid midday when it’s hot and the light is less interesting. Nice visitor centre. Route is easy to follow and well marked, but note that the road is narrow and very rough in places.

Great expirience on the way to Eilat. An hour during noon will be more than enough. Reccomend riding all the way to see attraction from car.
