Seema Malaka is a Buddhist temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The temple is mainly used for meditation and rest, rather than for worship.

I appreciated this site more than the junk laden Buddhist temple that is associated with this one. This has some divinity to it on the water, which makes it more peaceful.

It is recommended to pass by, although it is some how overcrowded. It is not very clean, so be prepared.

This is one of the most photographed landmark in Colombo. The area it's very photogenic and so you can spend some time looking to make some nice picture. There is an entrance fee.

Its open on daily basis execpt if there is a renovation or special buddhist events take place. Basically open at 8.00am till 6. 00pm.
