It had snowed. It was cold. I took quite a climb to get there. And once you reached the top you wonder “why did I come here?” The Cie is Dar reaching but there is nothing to see. The soviet art is not attractive

By hiking up 300-400 steps you get a full panoramic view of UB; probably the best in the city. The memorial is dedicated primarily to the collaborative efforts of Mongolia & Russia during the WWII period. Worth the effort for the view.

Climb is not difficult but the views are worth the climb😊. Like the colorful monument too built in memory of the Mongolian n Russian soldiers died in ww2..worth visiting, beware of strong winds tho..

It's a simple monument to the Soviet and Mongolian soldiers of WWII. The monument is just another monument, but the views over UB are spectacular. It's a bit of a walk up if you're not used to climbing stairs.

Can have a good view of Ulaanbatar from here , but the surrounding areas is encroached by buildings everywhere- whole city with massive high rise apartments, bit windy and need to climb many steps

Got 270 stairs which is still okay for everyone to go up. Not so how yet it worth it to go! Got unique arts at the wall that tell us about the friendship between Mongolians & Russians

Apparently the new posh location in UlaanBaatar (or UB), do not forget to check in here for some fabulous views of the sprawling city of UB. We took the stairs up to the observation point for a light hike of 10-15 minutes and came down...More

Yes, take a bus #7 or any bus destination says to Zaisan then hop on it. Fee is 500mnt which 25 cents. Other option is walking to there is 20minutes from downtown.
