We were staying at JW Marriott Absheron and on a Sunday morning around 11 am, we took a Bolt from the hotel to Martyr's Alley to start our walk. The Bolt ride only cost us 2 manats!

It is a very good experience to walk along the shore of the Caspian Sea. It is not far from the Old City. If one interested in birds, it is a good opportunity: gulls, terns, cormorants. Though, not very often.
I really enjoyed walking the Baku Boulevard in Dənizkənarı Milli Park. It's a lovely, peaceful area, with views of the Caspian Sea (102 season the world). The sea breezes are ice. There are fountains, children activities, seating and shade.
The boulevard has absolutely breathtaking views. You can walk right up to the sea. When we visited it was very windy and pleasant to walk a long way down the boulevard. It was a great introduction to Baku.

wow! what a nice question! OF COURSE! The Baku atmosphere and general ambient is definitely most suited for honeymooners! There is the sea, the boulevard, nice restaurants, with any kind of budget you have, nice historic pkaces to visit, nice, long, glorious streets to walk lazily in the morning and or afternoon, Russian feeling quarters and houses, European styles avenues, all in all, very nice. I always go two to five times a year to this beautiful sweet city... So definitely a YES! happy hineymoon!
