It's like a pool you cannot swim in. Artificial. There are lots of bars at the lake, but they are all way too expensive.

The surrounding land used to be filled with cafes and vendors but now is a peace place. The lake is in the shape of Lake Sevan. You can often hear practices of the evening opera while relaxing by the lake.

It's a good place for some fresh air and some peace; just to get out of four walls. Just find a bench and chill.

We visited this popular lake during our brief stay in Yerevan and were impressed by general atmosphere of the area which is very close to the Opera House.
