Visited the mummified Monk, Very peaceful wife said a prayer and the monk on site said we could place flower's. A very religious figure in Koh Sumoi. A must visit. Please donate.

If you are driving by stop and take a look. It is on the main road. Only takes about five minutes. Kind of cool.

It's a temple and the mummified monk is clearly visible in a glass case.A monk who was well known for his meditation ,it always attracts tourist.

Apparently this mummified monks hair and nails still grow about 1 cm each year, amazing. He now wears sun glasses as his eyes have decomposed....he is encased in glass in a meditating sitting position which is apparently what he was doing when he died.
