Bhutan is famous for handwoven textiles and RTA gives you a great introduction. You can then visit the craft Bazaar next door better prepared about the beautiful textile you may pick up.

The building is good, and so is the collection. But its difficult to relate with. This can be skipped if time is less.

Good architecture. having a traditional bhutanese dresses and live demo of man and women dress in digital way. Heavy dresses of bhutanese peoples wearied in occasions stayed in different regions . must visit.

Very nicely designed place displaying the textile heritage of Bhutan. The colour scheme of the external wall and windowsill paintings simply takes your breath away.

Excellent displays of historical textiles and weaving from many years ago. Lots of beautiful examples of clothing with distinct weave patterns belonging to different regions throughout Bhutan. Worthwhile visiting this museum.

Yes you can. They have a variety of fabrics in different sizes and price ranges. It is all very high quality and some is quite expensive. Other items have a lower price tag.

The Museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm. It is closed on Sunday.

From Paro Satsam, it will take around 1 hour 30 minutes with normal traffic.
