Organise a visit as part of the walking route of the monuments on the Mall. This was our second visit to Washington and we thought that there were a lot more tourists that previously, so you might want to visit early if you don't like...More

If you want to visit this monument, it takes a long walk on a path that is kind of hidden. That makes it more beautiful but is not that easy to find. Best time to see in the fall with the changing colors of the...More

Unfortunately this simple, but significant memorial is a bit tucked away and probably missed by most visitors to the Mall and even the Vietnam memorial. Well worth a short side walk to show respect.

This memorial sits just to the west of the Vietnam War Memorial. It is an intricately carved bronze statue. It's simply beautiful in a beautiful, park like setting.

The Vietnam Women's Memorial is near the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, so be sure to visit it. Nice that they gave acknowledgement to the women.

Please if you don't want to be bothered by insane tourist speeding on scooters, disobedient school children or other populations that are rude then go before 8AM. This, despite its small size, is a powerful monument.

Today we went to the Vietnam Women’s Memorial and it had such important meaning. It showed that women were willing to help give their lives in Vietnam to help protect our country. I highly recommend seeing this memorial!
